Ready for an Adventure? Join us at Go Ape for a fun evening in the trees!
Date: Friday, June 10
Time: 5:15 to 7:45 (Choose a start time of 5:15, 5:45, 6:15 or 6:45 when you register)
Everyone will do the Treetop Journey Course. We have secured a discounted rate of $26.34 per person (Ticket includes taxes and fees. Group Discount is 30% off: $23.06 + tax and fees in the amount of $3.28. Normal cost is $32.95 + taxes and fees in the amount of $4.69 per person)
Payment is required in advance. Payment is due from MOTC to Go Ape by May 27th.
NOTE: When Registering here the system automatically counts you as a participant. If you plan to supervise from the ground and not participate in the course, reduce your guest number by 1. For example, if you are not participating but you are bringing 3 children, enter 2 guests. If you are participating, just enter the number of additional participants. Be sure the total you are paying reflects the cost for the number of people who are actually participating.
Each session (5:15, 5:45, 6:15 or 6:45) will have 12 to 13 participants. If you would like to attend a session and need 5 spots but only 4 spots are available, contact us and we can check with Go Ape to see if that group can increase by 1.
Gloves are required for all participants. You may bring your own or purchase them there. In addition to the discounted ticket price, gloves may be purchased at Go Ape for 20% off. The normal cost of gloves is $8 for fingerless and $9 for full glove.
There is not a minimum age to participate, but there is a minimum height of 39 inches. Please note the adult to child supervision ratio if bringing multiple children under the age of 16.
Supervision Ratio
Age 5 and Under: An adult (18+) must participate to supervise every two children age 5 and under on the course, though we strongly recommend one adult per child on the first visit. Participating adults may not supervise from the ground.
Ages 6 - 15: One adult (18+) is required to supervise up to eight 6 – 15 year olds. The supervising adult may either participate on the course (paying) or supervise from the ground (no charge).
Ages 16 - 17: 16 and 17 year olds do not require a participating adult, but they do require a waiver signed by their legal guardian.

Your adventure starts promptly at the time you've reserved, and we cannot guarantee accommodation for late arrivals.

WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING
-
Gloves are REQUIRED. You can bring your own or purchase at Go Ape when you arrive. Latex and single use disposable gloves are not permitted.
-
Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little dirty. You may want to bring a change of clothing for the ride home. We also have apparel available for purchase in our cabin.
-
Fully enclosed shoes are required. We recommend ankle-supporting boots, but sneakers are fine too. For your safety, do NOT wear sandals, slip-ons, or any shoe where your foot or toes are partially exposed.
-
Dress for the weather! Layers, hats, gloves, and rain gear are recommended depending on the weather forecast.
-
For your safety... long hair should be tied back, waists and thighs should be covered, and body jewelry should be removed or taped over.
-
You may take cameras, phones, and any other device on the course as long as they are secured to you and tucked away to prevent them from getting caught or falling to the ground. We also have mobile phone holders available to purchase (limited supply).
-
We DON'T recommend bringing a bag with you into the trees because they are bulky, but if you must bring a bag, it should fit closely to your body and must not interfere with the harness or related Go Ape gear. A small backpack with tight fitting straps usually works fine. Fanny packs aren't great because they sit right where your harness will be.
-
Please leave extra bags and belongings locked in your car during your adventure. We can hold onto keys for you at the cabin. Go Ape is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
-
Participating in the STEM Program? You'll enjoy your experience and then check in with our staff at the Go Ape cabin. They will provide you with an activity sheet to complete, plus any materials needed to execute.
